What’s Your 2019 Game Plan? Insights from Angelo Ponzi and Rich Cocuzzo on Critical Mass Radio Show

2019 is here! What’s your game plan to lead yourself/your team towards a winning year? Join Angelo Ponzi of The Ponzi Group and Rich Cocuzzo of Sales Velocity Advisors to learn how you can make the most of 2019 for you and your firm. Here are three takeaways from our time with Angelo and Rich on Critical Mass Radio Show:

1. Focus on actionable ideas. It is crucial to invest time working on your business, not just in it. But with that, being exposed to many ideas won’t make a difference unless you prioritize action, and actually implement these concepts into your business strategy.

2. Set a game plan. What is your strategy? How will you move the plan forward? Life and business are like a game, and just like in sports, it is crucial to develop a strategy that will allow you to score. Get prepared to move your business forward by reflecting on where you have been. How did you do last year? Assess what was, what worked, what didn’t, and what can be done better. Where do you stand right now? Regardless of your answers to these questions, you have to have a plan to effectively move forward.

3. Your strategic plan should be a living, breathing plan. Your strategic plan shouldn’t just be a document that we create in the beginning of the new year and then never look at again. It should be something that guides your strategy, and your team, for the entire year. It is crucial to be able to share and communicate the strategic plan to your team. Not only will this increase their understanding of where the business is going, but also increases employee engagement, as each team member will have increased understanding as to how their specific role contributes to executing the strategic plan.
