Individual Coaching
Individuals hire a coach to help them get to where they would like to be in their business or personal life. The Coaching Perspective provides personal coaching programs for CEOs, Entrepreneurs, Executives and Key Staff members to enhance performance, communication and bottom-line results.Individual coaching sessions are done either face-to-face or by phone.
It is frequently used when someone is planning to move into a new position, especially if it involves taking on additional management responsibilities. Some clients work on specific issues such as delegation, communication, and management practices, while others focus on achieving a better balance in their life.
People seeking individual coaching often express the following feelings:
I wish my life was better
I need a fresh, unbiased perspective
I just need someone to talk to
I am tired of ‘should of’, ‘could of’, ‘would of’ ruling my world
I never seem to get anything accomplished
I want more but I am not sure how to get it
My life is not well balanced
I lack a personal life plan and the strategy to achieve it.
Recent Examples of Individual Coaching:
1). The owner of a service company was frustrated with the lack of growth and his increasing level of involvement in daily operations. Coaching helped him discover what he really wanted out of the business and to re-evaluate the growth opportunities in his industry. The outcome of this was the realization that he wanted to sell his business, which we helped him negotiate. He now has three new businesses and is excited daily about their growth prospects. Best of all, he is working on the things that he likes to do on a daily basis.
2). The president of a sales organization entered into coaching to get help on improving his management skills. Coaching helped him to realize that his real passion in life was to start a business teaching children. At this point, his wife was included in the coaching to be sure that the solutions being explored would meet both of their goals. He was then able to sell his business while still retaining a part-time position. He then started a new business working with children.
