1.While some aspects of marketing change with the times, certain things are timeless. Changing algorithms and changing technologies require some new strategies and approaches alongside technological growth. However, regardless of what medium you are using, some aspects of the marketing framework still apply.
2. Begin with the end in mind. Whatever you are promising to offer to your clients, don’t just “set it and forget it.” Rather, find a way to quantify results so you can demonstrate that you truly can provide a significant return on investment. Do the research, watch performance and make necessary changes so you can continuously deliver high quality results.
3. Deliver the entire package. Website traffic is often a key metric, however unless the
website is clear enough for users to engage with/perform the desired behavior, website traffic will not be meaningful. Don’t simply drive traffic; rather, take a holistic approach to optimizing the website as a whole, so you can truly drive sales to fullest potential through consistent, relevant, valuable content.
