1. The larger and more spread out an organization is, the more essential and the
more difficult productivity becomes. While on Critical Mass Radio Show, Nick Panhwar explained that in order to be successful, teams should have processes in place to ensure optimal productivity and communication between the various individuals and teams within a company. Productivity, at present, is not universally defined or measured, but it is essential for an organization to establish a clear, unified framework to measure progress in this regard.
2. There are four main pillars to productivity. The 4 Pillars, according to the TeamKnit philosophy, are communication, execution, knowledge and engagement. Nick shared on the show that when companies intentionally work to improve these four things, they will truly reach optimal levels of productivity.
3. Success doesn’t give you the lessons you need. Rather, your failures give you everything in terms of gaining lessons for how, and how not to, move your brand forward. However, with that said, you don’t need to make a costly mistake to learn something learning vicariously through the lessons of peers and mentors in your industry is effective as well in gaining valuable insights and providing direction. It is important to consider the value of a peer, as unlike “those who came before you”, they are running their businesses in the same changing times/reality as you are, so their perspectives are that much more relevant.
