Here are three takeaways from our time with David Salazar on Critical Mass Radio Show:
1. Effective implementation doesn’t happen overnight. Regardless of the service you provide, think beyond the transactional in working with your clients, and focus on strategy. While tactics may happen quickly, strategy is a commitment that requires time and intentional investment. However, in focusing strategic implementation, you will raise the bar exponentially in terms of the value you are able to provide to your clients.
2. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. In other words, ensure that you have revenue diversity. If a significant portion of your revenue is coming from one entity, you increase risk, as so much of your business’s financial standing is depended on a single party. By diversifying, you ensure that one person/entity doesn’t have the power to substantially damage your business as a whole.
3. Confidentiality. Competence. Character. David Salazar shared that these “Three Cs” are the guiding principles he uses to lead and grow his firm . He believes that trust is key, as is investing in continual growth and improvement to best show up for clients and provide the maximum amount of value. Finally, David shared that he believes in ensuring that those who represent The Salazar Group are of strong character, and truly understand what the firm is about, as well as the process as a whole.
